When he was 18 years old, he was introduced to mathematical ideas and astronomy by Thales who encouraged him to go Egypt to leverage his field.
After arriving in Egypt, Pythagoras tried to gain entry into the Mystery Schools
but the schools not accepted him unless he agreed to undergo training of fasting and breathing. After 40 days of fasting & breathing, he finally allowed to enter the school at

He left to southern Italy-Crotona and was invited to speak before the Senate of Crotona who admired his wisdom and intellectual. They decided to build him an institute, which serve a school of philosophy and science.
In 508BC, the Pythagoreon Society at Croton was attacked by Cylon, Pythagoras escaped to Metapontium where he was reported to die there.
The power of Numbers is based upon the firm statement of Pythagoras, “The world is build upon the power of numbers. The entire universe is composed of mathematical patterns and all things can be expressed in numbers, which correspond to universal vibrations. These numbers determine our personalities, destinies and fortunes of individual.”
